What is the difference between Children’s Academy and other childcare centers?

Children’s Academy offers a close knit, family feel. The teachers are the most important part of our mission. We provide lower than state ratios in classrooms at an affordable price.

What is included in tuition? What do parents need to provide?

Everything is included besides bottles and diapers. We provide two meals a day and a snack, made fresh on site daily by our chef. We provide wipes, linens, bibs, and all school and art supplies. The goal is to make it easy for parents at the time of drop-off and pick-up.

We also provide all weekly extracurricular activities for ages 18 months and up. Every Monday-Thursday, your child will participate in a different activity at the same time every day. These are taught by certified instructors and include Soccer Shots, Yoga Stars, Webby Dance class, Science and Music and Movement from Stretch-n-Grow.

How do you communicate with parents?

The directors and owner talk to parents daily. We also use Brightwheel to chart the children’s day with updates, pictures, and videos. The teachers send notes to parents regarding classroom reminders and progress. Communication is very important in a childcare center, as children spend a good amount of their week in development with the teachers.

Do you have parent access cameras?

Yes, we provide secure HD colored camera access to parents on their phones. The cameras, along with Brightwheel, provide a comfort feeling for our parents.

Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM

What days are you closed?

We are closed around 6 major holidays; New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Unlike our competitors, we rarely are closed for any additional teacher in-service days, spring breaks or training days. We also remain open through most weather. Even if the local schools are closed, we remain open and provide services to school age children for those days.

What kind of food do you provide?

We provide fresh food made every day by our chef. Breakfast consists of multiple food groups with items like pancakes, yogurt, granola, muffins and fresh fruit daily. We provide a well-balanced lunch with a protein, grain, fruit, vegetable and milk at every meal. Menu items include chicken quesadillas, turkey chili, mac and cheese, chicken noodle soup, and grilled turkey and cheese sandwiches. Do you offer part-time care options?

We offer part-time options for all ages. For infants and toddlers, we offer flexible 2, 3, or 5 day programs. For all preschool age groups, we offer full day and half day options, along with 2, 3, 4 or 5 day programs. What is the cost of the tuition and registration fees?

Tuition varies by age group, with part time and full time options. We are an all-inclusive facility, meaning we charge one affordable price weekly with no additional fees. Unlike our competitors, we do not have any enrollment, registration, or supply fees.

When and how can I schedule a tour?

Most tours are done between the hours of 9:00AM – 3:00PM Monday through Friday, although we can accommodate special requests on times.  We prefer the mid-day time so you can meet the main teachers that would be working with your child, as this is the most important quality of Children’s Academy. How do we reserve a spot?

To reserve a spot at either location, you submit one weeks’ tuition for the program your child will be starting, as a non-refundable deposit. This tuition will then be applied to your child’s first week at our school. No additional registration or enrollment fees will be charged.
